Version 1 Version 2
            Alameda - Either/Or - Elliott Smith

Any questions:

The main chords that are arranged differently to normal -
They are like this so you can get all the melody notes:

   Cmaj7 B7 Am add9 Fmaj7 B7sus4 Am/g G/b
e|---------------------------0-------0--------0------------|
B|--1-------0-------1--------1-------4--------1------3-----|
G|--4-------2-------4--------2-------2--------2------0-----|
D|--2-------4-------2--------3-------4--------2------0-----|
A|--3-------2-------0----------------2---------------2-----|
E|--------------------------(1)---------------3------------|
                          thumbed

This is a guitar transcription that includes the melody. As a lot of Elliott
Smith’s songs feature lots
of separate guitars and vocals, I tried to make this version contain as much as possible
on one
 guitar.

The picking pattern is easier to figure out if you separate it into the bass
notes, which start 3 2 3 2
on the A and D strings, and the melody which is all the other notes.
